Fallschirmjager fought under extreme conditions during the first Russian Winter of 1941 outside the city of Lenningrad. Both FJR1 & FJR3 where responsible for the Neva Front. Where vicious hand to hand combat took place. Many a Fallschirmjager lost his life during the brutal conditions.

I wannted to show the harsh conditions of the fighting that took place there with this diorama.
