Hauptmann Ferdinand Foltin

C.O. II Battalion, 3FJR, during the hard fighting for the city of Cassino. He was promoted to Major June 1st and awarded the Knights Cross on June 9th, 1944 for his decisive leadership and courage during the 2nd Battle of Cassino.
